 Utilizing smart home technology can be a helpful way to alleviate stress and keep up with vacation home maintenance. For example, smart home devices can detect and alert you to leaks from burst pipes or other sources. Smart smoke detectors also work similarly to traditional ones but can send an alert to your smartphone when an alarm goes off.  you can inform us of any alerts if you have those so we can handle any issue, small or major for you.

A vacation home cleaning and maintenance service can provide regular upkeep and perform preventative maintenance on your vacation home.

• Strip bedding, do laundry
• Mop and clean floors and counters.
• Unplug all electronics.
• Shut off the main water supply
• Turn off the water heater
• Empty and unplug the refrigerator
• Remove all food from cupboards and pantries, secure from pests.
• Close the chimney flue
• Remove ashes from woodstoves and fireplaces
• Clean storm drains & Gutters.
• Shut off all lights
• Close blinds
• Empty the trash
• Check the yard for items to bring inside
• Lock all doors and windows

From turning on the Climate controls, to cleaning the house and kitchen, to stocking the fridge with basic pre agreed on items such as water, wine and beer. to making sure everything is in working order from light bulbs, to stove to electronic to doors and window inspections for proper function.

If you are having friends/ guests come stay at your house while away, in addition to Prep for arrival service, we can meet them and show them around as well as make sure all their basic needs are met and questions answered. explain the HOA rules, etc if needed. PLEASE do no confuse this with SHORT-TERM rentals, we do not work with short term rental properties, nor do we manage those. find a realtor for that service if needed. 

In addition to weekly visits, you may have your Alarm company contact us if the house alarm was set off or police was called to the property instead of you having to travel to meet them in case of emergency,  Bad things happen, but we can be there, make necessary repairs and corrections if needed and take the hassle and stress away from you. 

 Many municipalities and HOAs require regular mowing and landscaping. we can help you choose maintenance-free grasses, bushes and plants that don’t require as much attention while you’re away. Another option is to use hardscaping or rock gardens, which require no maintenance at all. You can also use our  a landscaping Service to keep everything neat and trimmed when you’re at your primary residence. 

 We will work with local service providers on a maintenance schedule, inspect and deal with any issues that may come up while you are away. 

If you engage a remodeling service or order new appliances, we can be your point of contact while you are away, we will accept and set up new furniture/ appliance and monitor any work, from simple painting of interior or exterior to major construction.
